Membership & Registration Rules
Any individual customer above 18 years old can join the program for free and enjoy the rewards offered. Marhaba loyalty cards are available upon request at any Fathima Hypermarket & Supermarkets checkout counter or customer service desk. Marhaba cards can be used instantly however customer must complete the registration process to avail redemption. The registration process can be completed on the web portal (www.marhabarewards.ae) or on Marhaba Rewards Mobile Application or at Fathima Retail Stores. The registration must be done within 90 days following the first use of the card. After this notice, Fathima Group of Companies has the right to disable the loyalty account and all acquired benefits.
Marhaba loyalty card allows its cardholder to earn points: 1 point for every 10 Dirham spent in and when making qualifying purchases at Fathima stores in the United Arab Emirates.
In order to collect points, the loyalty card must be handed to the checkout service before payment. Redemption of points can be done only once the card is registered.
Members cannot earn points when purchasing the following items: Gift Cards, Pharmacy, Telephone Cards and E-Vouchers (including Etisalat and Du), Sim cards, iTunes cards, Services (extended warranty, Nol, Salik), Medicine, Tobacco, Subsidized items or items nominated by company during course of time.
Members of the loyalty program will receive a reward of AED 25 for every 250 points earned. This 25 AED loyalty discount can be used against the cardholder’s next purchase in participating Fathima stores in the United Arab Emirates for an amount greater or equal to AED 25 by representing the discount along with the loyalty card and within the expiry date specified on the loyalty discount. The customer needs to use the voucher for full amount which is equal to or greater than the value of item(s) purchased.
The AED 25 loyalty discount is nonrefundable and cannot be exchanged for cash and no change will be given. Each AED 25 loyalty discount is linked to the loyalty account which has received it and can’t be used by another loyalty account.
Redemption will be allowed only after registration of the primary card by the customer. The secondary cards cannot be used for redemption, however points earning rules and offers will apply.
Sales to institutions, wholesales and credit customers are not eligible to earn points.
Item refund rules
In the case of an item being refunded, the points earned on this item will be deducted from the loyalty account. If the loyalty account does not have the sufficient number of points to be deducted and since negative points are not allowed, the value of the remaining points (calculated based on earning rules) will be deducted from the refund. The refund will be only from the store of purchase.
Members of Marhaba loyalty program may benefit from exclusive member-only offers (with special prices or Extra points) during selected periods, within the limits of available stocks. Purchase limits apply.
Lost, stolen or damaged card
As a member you are responsible for any loss, damage or theft of your Marhaba account details including passwords and other confidential details related to your membership as well as loss, theft or damage of your loyalty cards. You must immediately report any loss, damage or theft to Fathima outlets (by filling the mobile application or the web portal contact form or by contacting our toll-free number). The primary card along with supplementary cards reported as lost, stolen or damaged will be blocked after a verification call from Loyalty Support customer service team. Further to the verification call, customers will be able to collect their new card in the selected Fathima retail outlets.
Any points accrued on the lost, stolen or damaged loyalty card at the time of the declaration will be transferred to the new loyalty account subject to validation of Marhaba rewards teams.
Fathima Group Of Companies declines any responsibility during the period between the loss, theft or damage and the declaration of the loss, theft or damage by the card/account holder. Fathima Group Of companies will not be liable for any unlawful or misuse of a Marhaba member account and it is the member’s responsibility to ensure that the login details are kept in a safe and secure location at all times.
The loyalty account may not be transferred to any other party.
Personal information and communication
As a member, you are responsible for updating Marhaba account of any change in your address or contact details. Marhaba membership accounts shall always remain the property of Fathima Group and you will only be the custodian of your account. Fathima Group of Companies has the right to contact members for the purpose of providing membership information, account statements and redemption details even if you have opted out of receiving communications. This excludes communications pertaining to promotions and offers, which will not be sent to you if you have opted out of such communications as a member. By joining Marhaba program, you consent to Fathima Group of Companies retaining the information provided about you, including details of any purchases made and using this information to offer you product, services, and deals that are likely to be of interest and for Fathima Super market research purposes. As a member, if you wish to close your account, you can return all your cards in store and fill a form stipulating your request along with the required information.
Acceptance and modification of terms and conditions
By signing up at Marhaba loyalty program from any channel, you automatically provide acceptance of the program along with its rules, terms and conditions. By using your Marhaba account in any of the participating stores, you agree to abide by the program rules, terms and conditions. Fathima Group of Companies reserves the right to modify or close Marhaba program or to change, cancel or withdraw any of the terms and conditions, without assigning any reason whatsoever at any point of time at its own discretion. It reserves the right to discontinue program membership – existing or new – temporarily or permanently for a period of time, as decided by the management.Fathima Group of Companies has the right to modify the manner in which points are earned and redeemed, including the number of points earned and the value of these points, and will endeavor to notify you of any changes in advance. Benefits and offers made to you through Marhaba program may change or be withdrawn without prior intimation. Fathima Group of Companies will not be responsible for any liability arising from such situations.
Fathima Group of companies reserves the right to revoke or refuse any or all of the memberships, refuse to award points; withdraw points; refuse the right to redeem points collected at any time without notice if, in Fathima Group of Companies reasonable opinion, a member has breached these terms and conditions, has behaved fraudulently or has supplied false or misleading information to Fathima Group of Companies. In this case, the account holder will lose all the acquired benefits and any right of use.
Marhaba program cannot be used in conjunction with any other program. These terms and conditions shall be governed by the laws of United Arab Emirates and any dispute may be referred to the courts of Abu Dhabi.
